Up for sale is this early helmet. Probably 18 C. The steel dome is finely chiseled and plated with silver and gold. Helmet diameter 8 inches. Height 6 inches. Very good condition to age. Some patches of rust and gilding losses. The mail collar is missing. The origin of this helmet is not very clear. India is a reasonable possibility.
