This Jambiya dagger, circa 1940, is made in India. Probably for the Arab market. The 7 inches curved blade with central rib is in the shape of a classical Arab blade. The handle and scabbard are chased copper, in and intricate floral design. Total length 11 inches. Very good condition. Blackened spots on the blade and dents on the pommel. The two hanging rings on one side of the scabbard are missing.
