The origin of this knife / dagger is obscure. Probably a home made item from the Mediterranean region. 5 1/2 inches up curving blade with acute tip, marked and signed 1937. Wood handle with small brass cross guard. Wood scabbard with brass bands and tip and brass made hanging chain. Total length in scabbard) 10 1/2 inches. Very good condition. One of the brass bands on the scabbard is open. This dagger comes with a leather belt (not original).
