We offer for sale this very fine Caucasian Miquelet Rifle. The barrel is 33 inches long forged from of superb twisted Damascus steel, clearly visible on its entire length. The barrel is inlaid with gold decoration. The lock is a Miqulet type with the original flint and in working order. Both the barrel and the lock are stamped with their maker mark. The stock is made of beautifully grained wood set with pierced silver decoration. The butt is carved from a solid piece of Walrus ivory with an old Austrian silver coin at its end. Total length 45 inches. Very good condition with all parts original.
