Up for sale is this very good war sword of the Ngombe people from Zaire. Typical 16 inches blade with rear “ears” decorated with geometrical design. Wood handle covered with iron sheet and grip bound with iron strips. Pommel stuffed and covered with hide and bound with rattan fibers. Total 24 inches. Very good condition. Old age black patina. No scabbard. A good item compared to other similar African blades.
