Up for sale is this small but fine Bugis Keris Dagger of high quality, and most probably a chieftain piece. The blade is wavy 9 1/2 inches long, with clear pamor structure. The hilt is classical Sulawezi style carved from grained wood. The short wide scabbard is also carved from grain wood and painted with delicate pattern in black and gold colors. Total length 13 inches. Very good condition. The silver mendak is late. The tip of the scabbard restored. A minor wood chip on the scabbard. Very attractive price for this fine piece.
