We offer here a very unusal Yataghan sword.The blade is 27 inches long, forged from very good pattern welded steel in the pattern known as Turkish Ribbon and engraved with maker signature. Very unusual handle, with lobed pommel known as North African style and recesses for the fingers. Also the ivory grips with the thin black horn spacers below the grips are typical to erlier examples. Total length 33 inches. altogther a very old Yataghan of rare design in perfect condition.
