We offer for sale this small knife, probably a general purpose item of the Bagobo tribe , Mindanao, Philippines. Somewhat crudely forged, 7 inches up- curving blade, widest at the tip. Handle is forged in one piece with the blade and bound with brass wires to provide a better grip. Two small brass bells are attached to the pommel with short brass chains. The blade is incised with simple semicircles design filled with white material. Total length 10 inches. Very good condition. Good age patina on the steel.
