This magnificent riding whip is coming from the Caucasus. The steel handle, 18 1/2 inches long, is heavily inlaid with silver in the very fine Kubachi style of work. The whip is braided hide. Total length (open) 36 inches. Very good workmanship of the late 19 century. Very good condition. The hide is torn at its base and repaired.
