Up for sale is this very fine wootz dagger from India. Blade of re-curving shape, 9 1/2 inches long with 5 inches back edge and a slightly thickened tip. The blade is forged from very fine wootz (Damascus) steel. Handle carved from a solid piece of good quality dark green Jade. Bolsters and blade heel are finely decorated with gold koftgari work. Total length 15 inches. Very good condition. A minor forge flaw on the blade. No scabbard.
