A unique opportunity to purchase this fine and beautiful Caucasian Miquelet pistol, circa 1800-1850. It is18 inches long with a 12 inches steel barrel elaborately etched to imitate twisted steel (Damascus). The barrel is bound to the stock with niello enameled silver band. Wood stock covered with black leather and a silver ball shaped butt decorated with enamel niello as well. The lock with its original flint is in perfect working order. Both the barrel and the lock are marked with a deep maker stamp. Very good condition. A repaired crack in the lower part of the stock. All parts authentic and original.
