Up for sale is this fine Koumaya Dagger from Morocco dated to 1313 (1896 in the Gregorian calendar). Classical blade, 9 inches long, double edged at its lower half and single edged at the top. The handle is carved from a single massive piece of Rhino horn with a very clear fibrous structure. The pommel head is chased silver as well as the grip collars and scabbard, all marked with the local silver proof mark and dated to 1313. . Total length 16 inches. Very good condition. The silver pommel has few small cracks.
