One of the many varieties of the curved Jambiya dagger from South of Arabia and Yemen. This one is an early 20 C. piece, with good steel blade 7 inches long with a central rib, horn handle carved from a massive piece of Rhino horn, decorated with silver rosettes on the front face and a silver cover on the back. Good whole silver scabbard. Total length 12 1/2 inches. Very good condition. A good old authentic piece, not like so many tourist souvenirs one see on the market. All parts original without changes or later additions or restorations.
