The Pedang Lurus is an Indonesian short sword, common in Java but can be found also in other Indonesian islands. The blade is 17 slightly down curving tip and with 10 inches back edge. It is forged from very fine pamor steel deeply etched and clearly seen on all blades surfaces. The hilt is worked in heavy silver in an elaborate design. The scabbard is wood covered with silver sheet chased in a very intricate design. Total length 21. inches. Very good condition.
