Up for sale is this fine Shamshir sword, with heavy curved Wootz blade 33 ½ inches long and with long fullers and traces of gold koftgari work. . Steel cross guard with light koftgari gold decoration and horn grips, possibly Rhino horn (?) bound with twisted steel wires and with steel grip strap and pommel cap. Total length 38 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard.
