Up for sale is this unusual Pedang Lurus - The short sword from Java, Indonesia. The short, down curving blade is 20 ½ inches long. It is single edged with a long double edge tip and forged from fine pamor steel. The handle is beautifully carved hardwood in the style of a monster head. The scabbard is wood covered with brown leather, somewhat reminding scabbards of European military swords. Total length 24 ½ inches. Very good condition. Very attractive price.
