Up for sale is this heavy chopper / machete like blade, possibly from the Mandaya people in the Southern Philippines. Early to mid 20 C. Heavy blade, 18 inches long and 3 inches wide. Hardwood handle with a pommel extrusion reminding this of a Pira sword. Wood scabbard partially painted black. Total length 26 inches. Very good condition.
