Up for sale is this very fine Ottoman / Balkan Yataghan sword, with fine 22 inches blade, decorated with silver inlay (true inlay) decoration and inscription on five panels on both sides of the blade. The inscription read in free un complete translation:

The grips are fine massive walrus ivory with heavy silver grip strap and bolsters. Heavy chased silver scabbard. Total length 30 inches. Very fine condition. The grip strap and bolsters are restored. A fine impressive sword.
