A rare sword from the West Ottoman Empire, Probably from Hungary. This Yatagan shaped blade is coming right out of our collection. The massive, down curving blade is 27 inches long, 2 inches wide and almost entirely etched with a very detailed and delicate floral design, in a classical Hungarian style. The hilt is horn, eared in the shape of a yatagan hilt. A very unusual sword, probably of the 19 Century. No scabbard, very good condition, attractive price for its rarity
