Up for sale is this good early Qama dwgger, most probably of Georgian origin. Heavy double edge blade, 2 inches wide and 16 ½ inches long, with three fullers and two deep maker stamps. Horn grips with steel rosettes. Gold koftgari decoration on the rosettes and on the tang around. Wood scabbard with the original leather cover with spiral stitching and white metal locket and chape. Total length 23 inches. Very good condition. Minor dents on the chape.
