This is a rare find from the Ottoman empire. A wood powder flask with its original baldric belt, probably mid 19 C. or earlier, from the Western Balkan. . The flask Is 3inches in diameter, 6 inches tall, decorated with inlaid brass wires Mother of pearls and silver inserts. The leather belt is decorated with many brass tacks. Total length (with belt) 27 inches. Very good condition, only few brass tacks are missing on the belt. Unusual authentic item.
