Up for sale is this authentic dagger of the Shi people residing in Zaire. Straight and well forged blade with a central rib, 8 1/2 inches long. Hard wood handle and scabbard bound with copper wire bands. Total length 13 inches. Very good condition. Some losses to the copper bands. The Shape of the blade and the scabbard are very similar to another Shi sword, see Sword of the Shi . A very rare 19 C. item
