Up for sale is this rare type of helmet, composed of side plates and top strip connected with mail rings and mail collar. Probably mid 19 C. about 8 inches in diameter and 8 inches tall. The nasal protector has a dagger shaped top. The collar mail is made of open rings as common to 19 C. helmets. Very good condition, very impressive item.
