Early 20 C. Khukuri Knife with Bone Handle and Rattan scabbard - 8072

An unusual example of early 20 C. Khukuri, with good blade 12 inches long. The handle is bone and the scabbard is wood covered with braided rattan fibers. This Khukuri comes with two Karda knives with their handles also bound with braided rattan fibers. Total length16 inches. Very good condition. Some losses to the rattan binding on one of the kaerdas. Very attractive price. This Khukuri is coming from the collection of John Powell, SF, a world known collection of Nepalese and related weapons. |
