Up for sale is this scarce Sword / Machete known also as Stick Sword or Toa. It is coming from the Island of Solor, east of Flores. It is characterized by the short, heavy, axe like blade, mounted on a long haft. The blade of this specimen is 12 ½ inches long. 3 ½ inches wide, Mounted on a 19 inches haft with 7 inches steel collar. The haft is made from wood and horn sectors. Total length 31 inches. Very good condition. Small blackened patched on the blade. Two of the horn sectors are slightly damaged.
