We offer for sale this outstanding Keris dagger, most probably Sumatra origin. Very old wavy blade 14 inches long, with clear and unusual pamor structure. Ivory handle with deeply engraved pattern filled with black lacquer like material. Scabbard is composed of elephant Ivory sectors connected with silver mounts and set with a big dark stone in gold setting. A silver plate also covers the scabbard mouth. Total length 18 inches. Very good condition. Few edge nicks on the blade with small areas worn. A crack in the ivory on the top of the scabbard. Definitely an old and authentic Keris.
