From our private collection we offer for sale this short sword from Tibet. Heavy wide straight blade, 19 ½ inches long and 1½ inches wide. The handle is steel, bound with steel wire and the pommel is chased and pierced steel in the Bhutanese style. The scabbard is also steel, beautifully chased, chiseled and pierced with a big Dragon on the front face and flower pattern engraved on the rear face. Total length 24 ½ inches. Very good condition. A very decorative sword, authentic and real, from the early 20 C.
