Up for sale is this Yataghan sword, with a 22 inches blade dated to 1214 ( 1799 in the Gregorian Calendar).in silver inlay ( true inlay) work. The handle is cast brass in a classical Balkan (probably Bosnian) shape with big side ears, set with coral like stones. The scabbard is wood with leather cover and sheet iron mounts. Total length 30 inches. Very good condition. There are minor cracks on the blade edge in three places.
