A good Knife / short sword from Tibet. The 17 plus inches blade is straight, single edged with two fullers. The hilt and the scabbard fittings are beautifully chased white metal with animals and dragon images. The central part of the scabbard is covered with a Sting Ray hide, (some times called fish skin). Very good condition, only slight denting of the pommel top. This is a real working knife from the early 20th century and NOT a tourist item so commonly found on the market .
