Very Good 19 C. Indian Khukuri Knife with Jade / MOP Handle - 7989

This fine Khukuri knife mid 19 C. of Indian origin and it is similar in style and construction to many Indian blades of the period, employing handles with jade and Mother of Pearl (MOP) combination. Fine blade 11 ½ inches blade with 6 inches back edge. Handle made of mosaic of MOP with jade collar and pommel knob. Steel cross guard. Original leather covered scabbard with steel fittings. Total length 16 ½ inches. Very good condition. A fine rare piece of very good workmanship.
