Old Pesh kabz / Mail Pierce Dagger - 7961

A strong Pesh-Kabz dagger, most probably late 19 C. from Persia / Central Asia. The 9½ inches re-curving blade is reinforced with a strong T spine, extending 4 inches from the blade heel toward the tip. The last 2 ½ inches are swollen to a heavy diamond cross-section tip in a typical Zirah-Bouk (Mail Piercer) tip. The grips are dark horn. Total length 14 inches. No scabbard. Very good condition. No scabbard. Some minor horn chips on the grips and some shrinkage of the horn. Very impressive piece of weaponry.
