This Khukuri sword is early 20th Century vintage and of exceptional dimensions: Very long heavy and wide blade, more than 21 inches long. Both faces of the blade are inlaid with brass inscription and geometrical decoration design. The hilt is wood inlaid with pieces of bone. The scabbard is from the style known as box scabbard. It is made of wood beautifully carved in local design and mounted with brass decorative animals, corals and turquoise stones (several loose). The two accompanying Karda and Chakma are located in a back side compartment.. Total length 29 inches. Very good condition. Minor wood chips on the handle. An unusual Khukuri at a very attractive price.
