Up for sale is this very unusual dagger - a combination of a Turkish Bichaq blade with a Kindjal handle. The blade is 15 with a 6 inches false edge and fuller below the spine. It is engraved with a greek design and dated to 1314 (1896 in the Gregorian Calendar) The handle is of a classical form of a Kindjal handle and the grips are black horn. Total length 20 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard. The blade decoration style suggest a Greek origin, but it can well be from any neighboring country. A very interesting and unusual piece.
