A rare piece, one of very few that were produced in Turkey in the 2nd half of the 19 C. A double barrel flintlock pistol with a butt shaped like a classical Turkish dagger and a concealed blade in it. Silver butt / handle. Typical Turkish silver inlay on the wood between the barrels. 11 inches barrels engraved and marked with maker mark, 20 ½ inches long. Very good condition. Black age patina on the barrels. Minor dents to the handle / butt. A very scarce piece.
