A very good real fighting Knife / Dagger of the Buyu tribe residing in Eastern Zaire on the shores of lake Tanganika. The blade is spear head shaped 8 inches long, 2 inches wide, well forged, very sharp of flat diamond cross section and reinforced edges. The handle is hardwood, polished and with very good age patina. The pommel is heavy piece of steel to counter balance the blade weight. The scabbard is wood bound with rettan band. Very good condition. Very few pitted spot and few only darkened areas. This is a real weapon meant for business and of highest quality compared to the many ceremonial / touristic items coming from Africa these days.
