This little unusual Indian kard dagger is very interesting in the elephant shape bolster extending from the ivory gripped handle to hold the blade heel. The blade is re-curving, made of good wootz and is 5 ½ inches long. The scabbard is covered with red velvet (later to the knife). Total length 10 inches. Good condition. One of the grips is cracked but holds well. Few pitted spots on the tang. The gold koftgari decoration on the tang is lost but mostly remained on the bolster.
