A good real fighting Knife / Dagger of the LEKA tribe residing in Eastern Zaire. The blade is spear head shaped 12 inches long, 3 inches wide, well forged, very sharp with a central strengthening rib and reinforced edges. The handle is hardwood, polished and with very good age patina. The scabbard is very simple wood box, of a lesser quality than the blade and may be a later addition. Very good condition altogether, very few pitted spot and few only darkened areas. This is a real weapon meant for business and of highest quality compared to the many ceremonial / touristic items coming from Africa these days.
