We offer for sale this 18 C. mail trousers armor from India, composed of many hundreds of separate rings each one interlaced with four other rings and each one individually riveted (see detailed Photo). This is the most authentic and strongest form of mail armor, in contrary to the later ones with open rings or coiled rings like in key holders. Good condition considering its age and extensive use. Very few holes and missing rings. Mail trousers are not common and this is a precious and interesting addition to any Indian arm and armor collection. Total length 35 inches.
