Up for sale is this very good early, probably late 18 or early 19 C. and interesting Moro Kris sword. The wavy and laminated blade is 19 inches long. Wood handle bound with braided cord and with a cockatoo pommel carved from a molar tooth of an elephant. Silver collar and silver clamps holding the handle in position. The wood scabbard is bound with rattan bands. Good condition to age, Shallow pitting on the blade. The pommel is very slightly loose and has few chips to the tooth material. The scabbard is later, made to fit to this sword. A scarce item.
