This Fine sword comes from India. It reminds the Firangi swords with the European long blade but here we have a fine wootz blade with reinforcement bars like the Khanda swords style. The blade 35 inches long, finely forged from Indian wootz ( crystalline). The basket hilt is steel, beautifully pierced all around. Total length 41 inches. Very good condition. Small damage to one of the reinforcement bars on the blade. The rivets holding the bars are replaced. Some repairs at the basket hilt bottom. A fine sword.
