Up for sale is this old and very rare sword, late 17 to early 18 C. The Khanda shaped blade with a spatula tip is 33 inches long, almost two inches wide and forged from good wootz steel. The handle is whole steel, old Hindu style, with long reinforcement extension bars to hold the blade. Total length 38 inches. Very good condition to age. Shallow pitting and minor blackened spots on the blade and handle. One rivet is missing. No scabbard. A very scarce item. For a very similar sword, see P. S. Rawson The Indian Sword, Page 55, Fig. 14.
