Up for sale is this very Fine Koumaya Dagger from Morocco, with a classical blade, 11 inches long, double edged at its lower half and single edged at the top. The handle is carved from a massive piece of Rhino horn with a very clear fibrous structure. The pommel head is and the scabbard are made of heavy silver, engraved and chased silver in a classical Moroccan design. and it is stamped in several place with a big silver proof mark, including the year of 131(?) ( 1892-1901) in the Gregorian calendar). Total length 14 ½ inches. Very good condition. A very fine piece.
