A fine, late 19 C. Qama dagger from Georgia. Good 13 ½ inches blade with narrow off-centered fullers. Heavy silver handle and scabbard richly decorated with floral design in chiseled and nielloed patterns. Total length 20 inches. Very good condition. Blade very slightly loose. Few dents to the silver and a minor age crack on the back of the pommel. A very elegant and impressive dagger.
