This is a 18 Century or even earlier Katar push dagger of quality in workmanship and design. The11 inches is riveted to the hand frame through the heel bolster which is beautifully and elaborately chiseled in a floral design. The side bars and the two cross bars are also chiseled in a decorative high quality designs on all sides. It is interesting to note that the two halves of the back heel are chiseled in different styles, similar to the design of the inner and outer sides of the side bars. Total length 15 inches.
