Here is a typical Kubur Greek pistol from the early 19C. It is covered with engraved gilded silver decorated with niello flower designs. Similar niello design is typical to Greek works of art and can be found also on rifles and swords from the period. Total length 17 inches. Barrel 10 inches. Very good condition. An old soldering repair to the silver stock (See photos below). some of the niello design is a bit worn. A very similar pistol can be seen in Robert Elgood Fire Arms of the Islamic World Fig 31 P. 62.
