This rare type of knife / Dagger comes from the state of Kerala on the South West shores of India (some sources though attribute this style of knives to Rajastan). The down curving solid blade, with a T shaped spine is 8 inches long, 2 inches wide at its widest point. The blade is decorated with gold and silver inlaid work. The handle is composed of sectors of wood brass and ivory, decorated with silver studs. This knife comes with its original velvet covered scabbard. Very good condition.
