Up for sale is this rare and unusual, early 20 C., matched pair of Jambiya daggers from Kurdistan.. Good double edged bladeswith central ribs, 10 inches long. Horn hilts (one cracked but holds solid), with old Turkish coins dated to 1327 (1909 in the Gregorian calendar) used as bosses to the tang rivets. Beautiful tooled leather scabbard with horn tips. Total length 17 ½ inches each. The daggers are identical with the exception that one has a right curvature and the other a left curvature. Next to excellent condition.
