A nice example of a Blunderbuss percussion pistol with a flaring barrel 9 ½ inches long forged from twisted (Pattern welded Damascus) steel. The lock is of the percussion type, converted from an older flintlock. The wood part and stock are made from grained wood and inlaid with panels of dyed ivory and mother of pearls. The style and decoration suggests an Azeri (Azerbaijan) origin. Very good condition.
