A dagger of superior quality and decoration, of Turkish origin, most probably late 19 Century. Good 11 inches curved blade with a central rib. Dark wood (or horn) hilt mounted with silver collar, pommel and grip strips. The scabbard is whole silver on wood, rich in filigree decoration of the utmost quality. Total length in scabbard 21 inches. Altogether good plus condition. You rarly see such a rich and splendid piece on the market. Priced accordingly.
