This outstanding piece of art in steel is a Mogul battle axe, 18 C. probably from Central India. The haft is 28 inches long, the crescent blade is 6 inches point to point ending in an antelope head all forged in steel. Very good condition. Good patina on all parts with very minor age pitted spots. The blade is very slightly loose in the haft. Unusual and rare axe.
